This young woman developed prominent, severe keloids on both ears after ear piercings. The large size of the keloids on the ear lobules resulted in elongation of the bottom part of the ear and caused a sensation of heaviness. As a result of the deformity, she was reluctant to wear her hair up and always covered her ears. Dr. Yeh performed Keloid Removal and Scar Revision in order to treat this difficult problem. The patient was also treated with post-operative steroid injections and laser treatments to prevent future keloid formation.
